Long time no post...

It's been a while since my last post... My apologies... as if anyone reads this. But things have been busy... I went to Oklahoma last weekend to surprise my younger brother. He got initiated into Phi Gamma Delta, which was the same Fraternity I was in at OSU. It was pretty special to be able to share that with him. I know he was relieve to be finished with his pledgeship. But such a rewarding experience and he will only continue to grow with his Brothers for the next 4 years.

I really enjoyed that weekend trip back to Oklahoma. I had a rough time getting there with 2 canceled flights, but it was all worth it. I spent the majority of the weekend with my family and suprisingly really enjoyed it. I say suprisingly because if you know my family, they can be a lot to handle. Let me rephrase that... they are a lot to handle. So a full weekend with them is often stressful for me. But this weekend was different... I really enjoyed myself and it made me miss home terribly.

So catching back up to this week. It was a stressful week at work and if felt like Friday couldnt' get here soon enough.

Today I went to my marathon kick off and met some people from my team that I will be training with. I also went and bought some new running shoes because they stressed that the shoes are just as important as the training. So I wanted to make sure that I bought some shoes that were right for my feet.

Church tomorrow and then back to the grind on Monday.

Big day on Tuesday and I'm looking forward to casting my vote for Barack Obama here in California.

It is always great having you home. I pray that you are able to train and stay healthy through this process. I pray you have the strength to overcome all that is thrown at you. You will be successful. I believe and trust that the Lord will bring you through to the finish line. I hope you asked off for the day after you run, maybe 2 of them. I love you!

Obama had a good Super Tuesday. I was surprised Hillary did so well in Oklahoma though.

Do you think Obama will send you to Oklahoma to run his campaign? jk
