Oh it's Monday...

So I've had some people contact me to say they read my blog. At first my stomach kind of drops and you feel a little vulnerable... Then they say that they have dealt with or are dealing with the same issues. That is comforting and encouraging to know that you aren't alone in your struggles. I have always known this, but until you open up a true dialogue with other people, it's impossible to grow. We are not fighting this battle alone!

I definitely didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Every part of my body was telling me it was a Monday! But I snoozed the alarm a few times and dragged myself out of bed. I was able to squeeze in a little reading time this morning as well.

I've started reading a book that I've wanted to read for the longest time. To be honest... I haven't picked up the book because I was scared of the book. I know that sounds crazy. The book is called Chazown by Craig Groeschel. Craig is the pastor of Life Church back home. I really miss getting to go to Life. Back to the book... Chazown - Hebrew for "vision" - God's unique plan for your personal fulfillment. It's about discovering your core values, realizing your spiritual gifts, and learning to use past experiences to form your future.

"Setbacks are often setups for God to work"

Well I better get back to work. I got a new neighbor today at work. His name is Reggie. I had been sitting alone for a while, so it will be nice to have someone to talk to at work. He is a nice guy. Definitely had a lot more energy than I did this morning...

It has been my pleasure to have known Michael since he was born. He is on a mission toward making an exceptional contribution to humanity. It gives me great pleasure to contribute to his blog.

This is Friday, January 4, 2008 and last night Democrat Barack Obama (I support Obama) and Republican Mike Huckabee (an outstanding communicator) were crowned the respective winners in the Iowa caucus. This opens a new chapter that is strikingly different in American politics. First, I will focus on Obama's message and ways by which he might improve the value and variety of his campaign communications.

When Obama speaks of change and the common enemies of humanity it would greatly improve the value and variety of his communications “if he explained HOW we could overcome these common enemies by using the proper means & resources to achieve those worthy goals.” Wisdom involves the development of the skills and abilities to differentiate between right and wrong, good and evil. Therefore, Obama knows that WISDOM must be the guiding valuable resource directing all change.

It is time we understood what actions or what in actions are good or evil. The first thing we must understand is that unjust and unrighteous actions perpetrate unjust responses. In respect to foreign policies when you transgress into another country's culture and economy this can be viewed as an injustice by those people.

They will in turn respond or retaliate in some way that will lead to further division and hatred. Therefore, the enemies that we are dealing with are not other human beings but our spiritual intangibles such as wrongful, unrighteous and unjust thoughts, words and deeds.

Post-World War II we have spent several trillion dollars in foreign interventionist wars that needlessly destroyed countries, killed, and maimed hundreds of thousands of human beings. Because there was not the right kind of effective communications by America's President Harry S. Truman, with the Soviet Union Prime Minister Nikita Khrushchev feared that America was going to attack their homeland. This lack of effective communications led to the nuclear arms race and the arming, by both countries, of various countries and militant factions throughout the world.

Then we had the needless Korean War, which even lead to communist China entering that war for a brief time. There was a tremendous needless loss of life on both sides during that war. The Vietnamese war followed, which once again was a total waste of resources and human lives including countless innocent civilian lives. Those horrendous losses were unnecessary because we left that war and now we trade and work with the Vietnamese people as though nothing happened.

There again, we had the media propaganda spreading the politics of fear and hatred toward communism which once again let us into using the wrong resources and means toward achieving peaceful and mutually beneficial relationships.

Then we literally invite Saddam Hussein to cross the border and attack Kuwait bus launching us into another war known as Desert Storm. Again, there were no proper effective communications; therefore, we destroyed the infrastructure of a country and killed many innocent human beings.

Then we had 9/11 during the attack which there was no defense or attempt to interrupt the attack are to save human lives in the towers and in the Pentagon. The “Project of the New American Century” stated on record that they would need a Pearl Harbor event in order to accomplish their intended goals in the Middle East. They got it right on schedule!

All the forms of injustice, unrighteousness and selfish greed represent the common enemies of humanity and life. These widespread self-defeating human traits breed hatred and thus various forms of retaliation. A vicious circle is set up for unjust terrorist acts and thus, unjust wars to be launched multiplying exponentially in the self-defeating use of the wrong resources to conquer the injustice.

The character of one's ideas and the temperament of the person doing the communicating is what counts toward achieving these righteous and just goals. We must clearly see and understood that the difference between candidates running for the President of the United States can mean many trillions of dollars difference and the difference between Heaven and Hell in the quality of our lives.

When it comes to being “Pro-Life and Right to Life” it is essential to be clear that this right extends to every human being on planet Earth. Therefore, to indulge in an interventionist war whereby you kill and maim millions of people and destroy the infrastructure of the country you are destroying their Right to Life and you are NOT Pro-Life are a destroyer of life.

Therefore, it is important that all of us recognize that the use of a particular resource to achieve our goals can mean all the difference in the quality of our lives & make the difference in the destiny of humanity. – Darrell Udelhoven
